Fall in Richmond, Virginia is a special time of year. As the temperatures cool down and the leaves change, the city comes alive with outdoor festivals, historic neighborhood celebrations, and family-friendly gatherings. At The PACE of Richmond, we love keeping our clients, friends, and neighbors connected with the best local events happening around town.

Here are two fantastic upcoming community events you won't want to miss this autumn!

2nd Street Festival | October 3–4, 2026

If you are looking for an incredible weekend of local culture, head down to historic Jackson Ward for the annual 2nd Street Festival. Expanding across multiple city blocks, this beloved Richmond tradition celebrates the rich history, heritage, and artistic legacy of the Jackson Ward neighborhood.

The festival brings together thousands of visitors for two days filled with live musical performances on multiple stages, local food vendors, art displays, and community organization booths. It is a wonderful outdoor festival for the entire family to enjoy while supporting local Richmond artists and small businesses!
